Silindokuhle Portia Mkhwanazi is a born- again Christian vocalist, worshiper, poet, aspiring actress, hair stylist and Former Miss Earth South Africa Regional Semi- Finalist 2015.

Silindokuhle knownfor her bubbly personality enjoys singing, working out at the gym, playing netball, writing and reciting spoken word poetry, as well as going to church.

She completed her Matric in 2014 and worked for the Western Cape Department of the Premier as a PAYE intern 2015 before travelling to the middle East, to tour the Holy Land and gain a better understanding of the issues affecting this conflicted nation. She is on a journey of career discovery before she starts in 2018 and has devoted her time to working with her community and gain relevant experience and skills in different fields.

She is a vibrant, hardworking and enthusiastic young woman with a passion for Environmental affairs and community development and empowerment. Silindokuhle is actively involved in community organisation known as Vuka Zwelethemba, Ikamvalethu Care Centre and is a former Thusong Centre Advisory Board member for her community in Zwelethemba.

She has worked hand in hand with the organisations in her community to help, empower and develop her people. She believes that the greatest purpose one has, is to serve their generation and to make a positive impact in the lives of those around them.

This multi- talented young woman dreams of becoming an established singer and poet, touching and changing lives through lyrics and spoken word. She also would like to open an orphanage home. This is so close to her heart because she grew up under foster care after the death of her mother at a young age.

Her life motto is to” seek God first and all things will follow as the works of our faith speak of God’s great love”. She believes that love is an action, more than it is word.
